Rebels. What Annoys Contemporary Artists and how they Talk about It?
The third hall of the Studio Storerooms is unlike the other two. The number of stored objects of everyday use is on the rise, while the amount of “sculptural matter” drops. Can a heavy-duty refrigerator form part of a work of art, and what does the title of Joanna Rajkowska's work Satisfaction Guaranteed stand for? What is the story behind Anna Baumgart's sculpture She-Bomber, a female figure with a pig's head? These and other questions will provide the focus of the next meeting at the Storerooms. It will also offer an occasion to reflect on the kinds of problems that contemporary artists confront in their works.
