Sculpture Museum in Królikarnia bears special ties with Dunikowski. Destroyed during World War II, the palace started to be rebuilt in 1948. The main idea of the rebuilding was to house Xawery Dunikowski’s sculpture collection. He was also supposed to live and work here. However, the artist would never settle in Królikarnia because the rebuilding completed in 1965, a year after Dunikowski’s death. He left a rich collection of art works that we now proudly present to our visitors.
